What Does Accuracy ±2-1-2% Mean?

This means the full scale is divided into three equal sections, and each section has a specified accuracy percentage. To calculate the maximum error within the same accuracy class, simply multiply the full-scale value by the accuracy percentage.

For example, with a 300 KG pressure gauge:

  1. Divide the scale into three parts: 0–100 KG, 100–200 KG, and 200–300 KG.
  2. The accuracy for 0–100 KG and 200–300 KG is ±2%, so the maximum error is:
    300 KG × 2% = ±6 KG
  3. The accuracy for 100–200 KG is ±1%, so the maximum error is:
    300 KG × 1% = ±3 KG

Taking a 63 mm liquid-filled pressure gauge with model 321/326-21-222-30B as an example:

  1. For the ranges 0–10 KG and 20–30 KG, the accuracy is ±2%, so the maximum error is:
    30 KG × 2% = ±0.6 KG
  2. For the range 10–20 KG, the accuracy is ±1%, so the maximum error is:
    30 KG × 1% = ±0.3 KG

What Does “Err1” Indicate on the SDI Series Display?

Err1” indicates an abnormality in digital signal transmission. This issue cannot be resolved by the end user.

Common Causes to Check:

  1. Overpressure:
When “Err1” appears on the digital gauge screen, press the right button marked “ADJ” to check the MAX value displayed.
If the pressure has exceeded the gauge’s rated maximum pressure, the device has experienced overpressure.
In this case, the current pressure range of the digital gauge should be reviewed and upgraded to a higher range if necessary.
  2. Static Electricity:
If there is no overpressure indicated in the MAX value, check whether the operating environment is generating static electricity.
Static discharge can damage the digital gauge.
If static electricity is present, avoid installing the gauge in such environments and ensure proper grounding of the device.

Can SKON Provide Repair Services for Other Brands' Products?

Due to concerns regarding product liability and dimensional differences among various brands, SKON is unable to provide this service.
Please contact the original manufacturer for support, or inquire with SKON to see if a suitable replacement product is available.

Can SKON Perform Testing on Other Brands' Products?

Is ISO 9001 Related to Pressure Gauges?

ISO 9001 is a globally recognized quality management standard that requires manufacturers to follow quality control and measurement procedures during production.
Although ISO 9001 does not specifically target pressure gauges, manufacturers who comply with this standard generally offer higher assurance in terms of quality control and product reliability.
